She was born on the 1st of September, 1996 in Oakland, California, the U.S. where she was raised by her parents her father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman who is African American, and her mother Claire Stoermer who has German and Scottish origins. Zendaya also has 5 siblings; Kaylee, Katianna, and Annabella who are her sisters, and Austin and Julien her brothers.
